Do This! Too Many Choices

(Based on the essay “Too Many Choices” posted August 16, 2011.)

Put yourself on a decision-making diet for a week:

1. Before making a decision, decide if you really NEED to make that decision at all. (Do you really need a new face cream, cell phone upgrade, or to change your health insurance plan?)

2. Put a limit on the amount of advice and information you gather before making a decision.

3. Keep options to under ten whenever possible. (The fewer the better!)
